ISR Hot Water Centrifugal Pump

ISR series hot water pump is used for pumping hot water and the other liquids physically and chemically similar to the clean water.

ISR type hot water pump is a single stage, single suction (axial suction) centrifugal for pumping hot clean water and the other liquids physically and chemically similar to the clean water. This pump is widely used in public water supply and drainage duties and agriculture.

Speed n: 2900rpm and 1450rpm

Inlet diameter: 50 to 200mm

Capacity Q: 6.3to 400m3/h

Head H: 5 to 125m

Before Starting

1. Rotate the coupling by hand, and the rotation of the rotating part of the pump should be smooth and even. This step should be repeated before starting each time. In case of stuck phenomenon, maintenance should be performed timely.

2. Fill the pump with water or draw out the air in the pump with a vacuum pump, and close the gate valve and pressure gauge cock on the outlet pipe to ensure that the pump is full of water and no air socket.

3. Add 30# mechanical oil to the suspension oil chamber, and the oil level must be kept at 1/3~2/3 of the oil window.

4. Start the motor instantly, check whether the rotation direction of the pump is correct.

Direction of pump rotation: from the direction of the motor, the pump rotates clockwise.


Start, Run and Stop

After starting the pump, gradually open the gate valve and pressure gauge cock on the pump outlet line until the pressure gauge shows that the pressure meets the application requirements (and within the specified performance range).

The normal leakage in the packing room should be 10~20 drops of water per minute.Otherwise, the tightness of the packing gland should be adjusted. But too tight will make the packing chamber heat, motor current increased.

During operation, we should always pay attention to whether the motor current exceeds the rated value. If it exceeds the rated value, we should immediately turn down the pump outlet valve and control the current within the rated range or stop the machine immediately.

When the pump is in operation, if abnormal vibration or noise is found, it should be stopped immediately for inspection.

When stopping, first slowly close the gate valve and pressure gauge cock on the outlet pipe, and close vacuum gauge cock on the inlet pipe, and then cut off the motor power.

It is recommended that users make reasonable operating procedures according to the requirements of the manual and the on-site situation.
