Precautions For Self-priming Pumps

1. First check whether the bolts are loose, whether the power cord and plug are in good condition, and the insulation resistance of the motor should be greater than 2 megohms.

2. In order to prevent electric shock accidents, corresponding security measures such as leakage circuit breakers or electric shock protectors must be installed, and reliable grounding must be carried out.

3. The working voltage of the pump must be between +5% and -12% of the rated voltage, otherwise the service life of the motor will be shortened or burned out. If the electric pump is used far away from the power supply, the power transmission line should be appropriately thickened, otherwise the voltage will drop and it will not be able to run.

4. Turn on the power switch and let the pump idle for about 2 minutes, check whether the start, operation is normal, and the steering is correct.

5. Fix the pump body, use steel pipe or rubber tube (not too soft to avoid flattening), connect the water inlet and the bottom valve, the bottom valve must be placed perpendicular to the horizontal plane, more than 30cm away from the bottom of the water, so as not to suck up the sediment.

6. Before using the clean water centrifugal pump and the automatic suction clean water pump for the first time, the water storage tank should be filled with water. After tens of seconds of power on, the water will not automatically flow out, and there is no need to fill it in the future.

7. Before the first use of the self-sucking clean water pump and the automatic self-priming clean water pump, the water storage tank should be filled with water. After tens of seconds of power-on, the water will not automatically flow out, and it will not need to be filled in the future.

8. When using, the motor should be kept dry, pay attention to the drop of the water level, and the bottom valve should not be exposed to the water surface. When the temperature is lower than 4℃. Antifreeze work should be done to avoid freezing and cracking of the pump body.

9. If it is not used for a period of time, the water in the pump should be drained (self-priming pump and automatic pump should dump the water in the storage tank), the main parts should be cleaned, coated with anti-rust oil, and placed in a ventilated and dry place for use.
